Sinister Five
Take an otherwise stock BMW 525 E60 and put it into the hands (or rather lens) of Julian and you get these gorgeous shots.
It's more than sufficient to let the pictures do the talking for this post.
Email him (julian@orangeinkz.com) if you want to capture your beloved ride as a timeless piece of art. Rates are very reasonable and more importantly, he's as car crazy as we are and that can only translate into magnificent pictures.

Formula Nippon Champion In Town!
Hands up those that follow/know Japan's Super GT? I am guessing most of you here are as enamoured as I am with race-prepped R35s, Supras, NSXs and other Japanese supercars.
Now, hands up those that know about Japan's top single-make single-seater racing category, Formula Nippon?
Don't even think for a minute that these are some backwater racing series. We are talking about Japan after all.
The 2008 model Formula Nippon car has lapped Fuji in 1 minute 23 seconds, less than 5 seconds off Lewis Hamilton's record of 1:18.7 so we are talking about blisteringly fast machines despite the fraction of development costs they get compared to F1.
The 2009 cars are even better, being a more advanced carbon monocoque (made by California's Swift Engineering) which replaced the previous steel-framed Lola chassis that the formula has used since becoming a single-make series in 2002. These lightweight babies are then bolted to 600HP+ 3.4L Honda and Toyota engines!
Now that I have gotten you guys properly interested, Formula Nippon '07 and '08 champion Tsugio Matsuda will be in town on the 23rd and 24th of May at VivoCity during the Nissan Mega Roadshow.
During the last season, he claimed his second consecutive Formula Nippon Series title for Lawson Team Impul after finishing fourth at the Fuji Speedway with 78 points and with one round still remaining.
For those that still prefer Super GT, I guess I should mention he also drives the Team Impul GTR which finishes 4th in the series last year.
More details on how to catch him in person here.

MJ's Dream Garage
Charcoalx posted his dream garage.
This is mine:
On the right is the Nissan R390 GT1 powered by Nissan Twin Turbo 3.5L V8 engine.
Power: 410.1 kw / 549.9 bhp @ 6800 rpm
Torque: 637.2 nm / 470.0 ft lbs @ 4400 rpm
0-100km/h: 3.3 seconds
Top Speed: 350 km/h
I will be happy just having this car in my garage.
There is just one small problem. Nissan only produce 2 R390 that is road legal and they kept one in their own warehouse in Zama (And I do not know where is the other one. If you know where is it, please let me know).

ECU for rent
Come June, owners of the GT-R will be able to upgrade their cars with a new ECU and Transmission Control Module (TCM) from NISMO. The ECU will increases maximum boost pressure by 0.1 bar. The TCM will deliver quicker downshifts and the speed limiter will be raise to 320km/h.
But wait ! What you mean I can't buy it ?!
Owners will have to first pay USD 3,000 to "RENT" it from NISMO for 2 years. After the initial 2 years period, owner can return the units or pay additional USD 330 a year to keep it on.
I think it is better to upgrade to other standalone ECU that can be further fine tuned. Just that, we still have to wait for someone to develop it.
