Kia releases first images of all-new model - VG
The new model, currently known by its code name VG, was shown in concept form at the Seoul Motor Show earlier this year and is set to replace the existing Opirus model in Korean, North American and European markets.
"VG clearly demonstrates the next stage in Kia's design evolution and showcases our new design principle of ‘sophistication by simplicity'."
"The exterior is a seamless blend of powerful front, sleek profile and sophisticated but simple rear lines to create an elegant and luxurious appearance," commented Hyoung Keun Lee, Senior Executive Vice President and COO of International Business Division at Kia Motors Corporation.

Schumacher is back in F1
Ferrari announced on Wednesday that they plan to draft in Michael Schumacher to replace the injured Felipe Massa at forthcoming Grands Prix, until the Brazilian is able to race again.
The seven-times world champion, who retired from Formula One racing at the end of 2006, will undergo a special training programme over the next few days to confirm he is fit enough to compete in next month’s European Grand Prix.
While I pray for Massa to have a speedy recovery, I hope to catch Michael live in action in Singapore GP.

Nice parking
Yet another display of skill (or the lack thereof) by the Singaporean driver.
If i'm driving a beat-up van, i'll insert it and see how the idiot Honda City driver is going to get back into his car.

BMW to leave F1
FRANKFURT - BMW will pull out of Formula One at the end of 2009 after a dismal season and amid a crisis in the automotive industry, sources told Reuters on Wednesday.
Neither the German carmaker nor the team would confirm details but a news conference was called at short notice in Munich with senior executives and BMW Sauber team principal Mario Theissen.
A source close to the team said the decision was taken at a board meeting on Tuesday and reflected an increased focus on sustainability.
The carmaker has been off the pace since the start of the season after continually improving its position in the constructors' championship since its very first season as an independent team. -- REUTERS"Stock Cars" in Tampines' Workshop
Found inside a workshop in Tampines.
The owner of this JDM accord claim that his car is stock.
But look at his front brake !
6 pots calipers and 370mm rotors painted in yellow together with 19" rims and low profile tyres.
Why would he need such great braking power if his car is really stock ?!
Anyway, a quick shot of his engine bay:
You decide yourself if this car is stock.
Found in the same area, is this EG Civic. Owner also claim is a stock car.

Toyota 2+2 Prius Hybrid Sports Coupe
According to rumours straight out of Japan, Toyota is said to be working on a two-door version of the Prius in an effort to go up against Honda’s upcoming CR-Z.
The shortened, 2+2 Prius-based hybrid sports coupe is said to be powered by an uprated version of the 1.8-liter 2zr-FXE four-cylinder engine that’s good for around 134hp - a good 36hp more than its sedan counterpart.
There’s still no word on what it will be called and whether it will be sold in markets outside of Japan.

KDM is in
I like the flushed Blitz rims, big Rotora brakes, carbonfibre eyelids and white pearl paint job. I like the Supra-esque looks of the current gen Tuscani. But I just can't get past the front wheel drive and puny NA engine.
I can't wait for the Genesis to hit our shores.
